HOW
Sending an email to your POINT is as easy as typing your DocLanding username followed by mail.doclanding.com. So much easier than remembering random letters and numbers some of our competitors, like box.net and Evernote. Heck, Dropbox doesn’t even let you email to the cloud.
So, if your username is business then you would just send to business@mail.doclanding.com
WHERE
When the email is added to DocLanding it will go the Sync File Cabinet in a folder called Email. A new Folder will be created using the subject of Email and the email text along with any attachments will be placed into that folder.
Even better, you can specify where you want it to go in your POINT by simply adding @ followed by the path in the subject line of the email.
So, let’s say you want this email to go to the Graphics Folder in the Marketing File Cabinet. Just add this to the subject @Marketing/Graphics.
If you don’t have the folder or maybe even the file cabinet in your POINT yet, no worries. They will get created for you!
WHO
In order to prevent unauthorized emailing to your POINT, we use the email addresses associated with your POINT in the Admin Center.
If the email isn’t listed, then you will not be able to receive email from that address in your POINT.
